Privacy policy

This site loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra advertising on the first view, without waiting for a click. The banner informs you and offers withdrawal: Reject turns all three off and is remembered for 180 days. Contact [email protected] for a privacy request.

Who is responsible

The operator of unseenliminality.xyz is the controller for the storage described here. Email [email protected]. The game studio and Roblox are not the controller for this website.

This is a fan reference site. It has no account system, no checkout, and no newsletter. The only data it writes is the browser storage listed below, plus the requests the third-party scripts make when a page loads.

What loads by default, and how to turn it off

The site loads its analytics and advertising scripts on the first view rather than waiting for an Accept click. A visitor with no stored choice is treated as granted, so Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and the two Adsterra units are requested as the page opens.

The cookie banner is therefore a notice and a withdrawal control, not a gate. Reject stops the Clarity and Adsterra scripts, disables Google Analytics 4 for this browser, and records the denial for 180 days so later page views stay off. Accept keeps them on. The footer link Cookie settings reopens the banner at any time, and choosing Reject there has the same effect.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are honoured as a rejection even on a first visit: the denial is recorded and nothing from the three vendors is loaded. Clearing site data for this origin removes the record, and the next visit starts from the default-on state again.

Storage this site writes itself

These entries are localStorage key/value pairs on unseenliminality.xyz, not cookies, and they are never sent to a server. The two checklist keys exist only if you tick something.

Google Analytics 4

The site runs Google Analytics 4 with the measurement ID G-J5RRMFDPWR, operated by Google LLC (Google Ireland Limited for visitors in the EEA and Switzerland). The tag is requested from googletagmanager.com and reports to google-analytics.com. Google receives the page URL, a truncated IP-derived location, the referrer, your device and browser details, and interactions such as scrolling and outbound clicks.

GA4 sets the first-party cookies _ga (distinguishes browsers, 2 years) and _ga_J5RRMFDPWR (keeps session state, 2 years). Cookie lifetimes are vendor defaults; the configured event-retention period is not publicly exposed. Consent Mode sets ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to denied before configuration, while analytics_storage starts granted and ads_data_redaction is enabled. The site then applies its default-on preference unless a stored Reject or browser opt-out exists.

We use GA4 to measure page traffic and find broken pages; the site currently starts measurement by default and offers withdrawal through Reject. You can object at any time with Reject in the banner or the footer, the browser storage controls, or Google's own Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google's policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Microsoft Clarity

The site runs Microsoft Clarity, project z88ri9efbo, operated by Microsoft. The script is requested from clarity.ms, which returns the recorder from scripts.clarity.ms; recordings and heat-map events are sent to clarity.ms. Clarity records clicks, scroll depth and page rendering as a session replay, together with the page URL, browser and device details, and a coarse location.

Clarity sets the first-party cookies _clck (persists the Clarity user ID for a browser, 1 year) and _clsk (joins a page view into one recording session, 1 day), and its own domain cookies such as MUID and CLID on clarity.ms. Clarity describes standard recordings as retained for 30 days; project-specific settings and saved recordings can differ. Form fields, passwords, and payment details are masked by Clarity's default masking.

We use Clarity to identify guide sections that are hard to use; recording starts by default and can be stopped with Reject. Reject in the banner stops the Clarity script and issues a withdrawal to the recorder. Microsoft's policy is at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement, and Clarity's own data page at learn.microsoft.com/clarity.

Adsterra advertising

The site carries two Adsterra placements, supplied by Adsterra (publisher ID 3403020, website ID 6174298): a Native Banner, ad unit 32085820, in the content column, and a Social Bar, ad unit 32085821, as a fixed strip at the bottom of the viewport. The invoker scripts are requested from bicea.org; creative resources may also use cdn.show-creative1.com, cdn.show-sb.com, cdn.cloudpiko.com static.nresystems.com and cdn.cloudvideosa.com. These advertising requests load by default and stop after Reject. Adsterra and its demand partners may set cookies and read device identifiers to cap frequency, measure clicks, and choose a creative; those cookies are set on the ad script's own domain and are not readable by this site.

Only these two page-level formats are in use. There is no Popunder, no interstitial, no Banner unit and no Smartlink on this site, and adult advertising is switched off at the Adsterra website level, so no adult creative is eligible. The Social Bar can be closed; that choice is remembered in ul_social_closed_v1 so the strip stays closed on later page views.

Advertising funds the guide. Its scripts start by default, and Reject withdraws the site preference and stops future loading. Reject in the banner removes both units from the page. You can also opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ad Settings, the DAA opt-out page, Your Online Choices for the EEA and UK, or your browser's tracking controls. Adsterra's policy is at adsterra.com/privacy-policy.

YouTube embeds

Some guide pages show a video thumbnail served from this site with a Play button. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press Play; the thumbnail is a local image. Pressing Play replaces it with a privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com iframe, and YouTube (Google) then receives your IP address, the page URL and your browser details, and may set VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC and PREF cookies. The privacy-enhanced player may use browser storage and contact Google or YouTube hosts after activation under Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy. The iframe is sandboxed and does not load until the click.

Outbound links to Roblox, Fandom, Discord and X leave this site. Those sites set their own cookies after you arrive and have their own policies; this site does not embed their scripts.

Your rights and changes

You can email [email protected] to ask what this policy covers, to request a copy or erasure of anything held about you, to object to the legitimate-interest processing above, or to ask for a correction. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Clearing site data for this origin deletes the four localStorage keys and any first-party cookies set here.

Retention is capped as described per vendor: 180 days for the choice record, the vendor configuration for GA4 event data, the standard Clarity recording window, and whatever the ad partners' own policies allow for their cookies. This policy changes by editing this page and its date; the footer link to Cookie settings always reopens the current choice.

Questions

Do you sell data?

No. There is no account, no checkout, and no data-broker feed from this site. Advertising is sold by Adsterra on the two units named above.

How do I turn the analytics and ads off?

Press Reject in the cookie banner, or reopen it with Cookie settings in the footer. The denial is stored for 180 days, and the loader stops before requesting Clarity or Adsterra on later page views.

How do I delete the checklist?

Use your browser's site-data controls for unseenliminality.xyz, or clear the ul_poi_v1 and ul_spots_v1 keys.
